I chose the Charcoal color because Black was 20$ more, also the gray color will go with most of my other gear, which is mainly black, grayish or Army green. It looks pretty cool, maybe the coolest I've seen, and I've been shopping for the ultimate helmet for nearly a year now; had a Walmart Bell just to get me out there. POC Trabec, Fox Flux, Uvex, 661 Recon, Azonic and Kali were close contenders. I wanted a mountain bike helmet without looking like an alien, astronaut (like another reviewer said)or a ROADIE! Got the Fox helmet liner too for colder weather, the vents on this helmet are quite large. Like I said in the title, I arrived at my first mountain bike race and my daughter texted me that the helmet just got delivered; oh well, it just would have gotten very wet and muddy the first time out. It was very comfortable, smooth, soft, warm and fit like a glove. They didn't have the black one, so i order it from amazon.com. I tried it when it arrive and felt the same way has the store. The only problem i had, was with the visor not being held on properly. Wish it came with a better visor and extra replacement visor.
